Help Needed: Spring Care Packages

It can be tough growing up in foster care. Youth who do often face more challenges as they transition to adulthood and pursue post-secondary education. Without families, they miss out on the emotional and financial support that their peers rely on. On top of their studies, most youth work multiple jobs to afford school and often spend holidays alone.

Help us applaud these youth’s accomplishments and support their continued hard work defying the odds with care packages! Each youth will receive a special package full of goodies.

How can I help? Now through March 20, 2026, we’re collecting study snacks, school supplies, hygiene items, gift cards and monetary donations to fill the care packages. Organize your coworkers to hold a drive. Challenge your friends to solicit donations from local stores. Ask your faith group to collect items from community members. Every little bit helps, and together, we can show these amazing youth that there are lots of people cheering them on! The full list of items we need is here, or shop our Wish List. Email us to arrange a drop-off or pick-up. Monetary donations or gift cards can be sent to us at PO Box 174, Northbridge, MA 01534. E-gift cards can be sent to info@weriseabove.org.
