We’re gearing up to send out 350+ care packages with study snacks, hygiene and school supplies, gift cards and encouraging notes and cards! Each package will be shipped directly to a young adult who is defying the odds by enrolling in college or a vocational program beyond high school.
How can I help? Now through early September we’re collecting gift cards to include in our fall Care Packages. Shop our Amazon Wish List or mail gift cards to us at Rise Above, PO Box 174, Northbridge, MA 01534.
How can I get a care package? Or, I know someone who would love to receive a care package: Youth who are eligible have:
- Obtained their high school diploma or equivalent, and
- Spent time in foster care as a youth, and
- Are still engaged with services through the Massachusetts DCF, and
- Are currently furthering their education in any way (2- or 4-year college, vocational training, certificate program, etc.)
Young adults can sign themselves up, or an adult can sign them up on their behalf. The deadline to sign up is September 10th. SIGN UP HERE.
