Who am I? Where do I belong? What is my purpose?

Rise Above’s partnership with Compass has resulted in a successful year-long, three-part leadership and service experience for a cohort of 14 young adults who have experienced foster care. Our first stop was a week in the NH White Mountains last summer filled with challenging hikes, team building activities, a high ropes course, canoeing, camping and campfires. In January, the group gathered for a weekend of reflection on what it means to live a purpose-driven life. The experience was capped off with a 12-day service trip to Iceland this past June! Young adults served alongside refugees at the Salvation Army in Reykjavík, Iceland and got to see some of the amazing sights of this unique country.
