We’re now accepting applications for our annual Mercedes Legacy of Smiles Scholarship. In memory of Rise Above’s co-founder, Mercedes Ramirez-Newkirk, we are excited to offer a $1,500 award to one student who will be enrolled in college during the 2018-2019 academic year. The scholarship is designed to reward an individual who has spent time in the Massachusetts foster care system and who has engaged in community service and who intends to continue their service to the community after graduation. Click here for the full rules and application form.
